1 Thessalonians 5:16.-18 “Rejoice evermore. Pray without ceasing. In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.”
Men ought always to pray, and not to faint; Prayer is very important and key to our everyday life and dealings. I am one of the people who believe strongly that Prayer can change situations if you can be persistent and consistent in it.
Prayer is a commandment which all believers must obey. Prayer is not an advice that we can either take or leave but it is a commandment which should be adhered to sincerely.
Prayer is a link from the physical into the spiritual. God is a spirit and only the spiritual can commune with Him. John 4: 24. “God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.”
There are so many benefits we enjoy when we dwell in the place of Prayer. Am sure this is why Jesus says we should always pray and not faint.
We are strengthened in the place of prayer: there are so many times that we become weak, tired and weary, we are not to allow such moments to weigh us down but we are to make the choice of going into prayers to overcome such weak moments. When we pray we receive strength to carry on.
We are refreshed in the place of prayer : Whenever you find yourself being tired or weak to pray and you see it becoming a daily weakness, know that; it is the enemy trying to stop you from enjoying the fellowship with your Father. Chose immediately to go down on your knees and call on the Holy Spirit for help and you will be refreshed and strengthened
Prayer is the Will of God and we must not cease from praying.
Prayer deepens our relationship with God, a life of prayer is a life relating with the Father. The more we go to Him in Prayer, the more He draws us closer to Him. Revealing Himself in us every day.
I shall not faint in the place of prayer I shall not be weary in the place of prayer I shall not be weak in the place of prayer I am strong and strengthened to pray day and night
